Inside MusiCast 'Pick Of The Day': “Carousel Kites", by Paul Steel. Selected by Mikael Engström

For me, this had been such a long-awaited album. I have been following the music from Kenny Pore, so let’s end this week with my own new little hybrid called "IMC songs and album of the day".

Ladies and gentlemen, meet with the extremely talented Paul Steel. His 2018 album ”Carousel Kites” took me completely by storm, it really messed me up and became my nominee for "IMC album of the year"

On this album, Mr. Steel blends elements from the Beach Boys, Queen, Beatles, Jellyfish, Todd Rundgren, Steely Dan and even some Kevin Gilbert. This album has a little bit of everything and brings something new to the table on each and every listen. This guy is super talented and is also one of those multi-instrumentalists who can do it all. It has some amazing orchestral arrangements, chord progressions extraordinaire, and is spiced with a great sounding production.

You can find this album on Spotify and TIDAL and most probably on other platforms. Check it out and be amazed.

Paul Steel deserves your attention .
Whatever you do - DO NOT miss out on this album!
