This is going to be one of those "short on content but sweet on overall payout," about an artist and album that I have been waiting to feature for a few months now. All I can really put into words is that Al Sunny is one very hip musician, singer & composer that has emerged from the French soul music scene. What little info I do have on him is that he was inspired by the likes of Al Green, and Al Jarreau. This release is for anyone who digs that classic 70s and 80s Westcoast vibe and its main ingredient is a boatload of soul.

The project was recorded live and in analog as Al remains true and nostalgic to all of those classics from that era. Check out the spacy fusion vibe on the title track. No doubt a tip of the cap to those mid 70s EWF instrumental interludes.
