Inside MusiCast 'Pick Of The Day': “Her Eyes The Stars", by Luchs. Selected by Eddy Cabello

When I first heard "Her Eyes The Stars" I played it over and over...and over and over. But that doesn't surprise me, as I recently found that millions around the world had found this classically influenced track on Spotify. It's such a beautiful piano composition mostly due to it's delicate and simple melody. It was released back in 2017 by Patrik Berg Almkvisth, aka LUCHS. Early on, he quit music school while studying at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, but later continued his education by studying acting and theatre at Calle Flygare Theatre School, also in Stockholm. Thus, he began a split career that involved music production. He grew in the art of storytelling...both verbal and musically, as you can clearly hear in "Her Eyes The Stars". Is this ballad a lullaby or romantic composition? I don't know. You decide.
This is out of our typical norm of music for Picks of the Day, but in these times we live in, it's nice to find a gem that can bring you a peaceful feeling. This pushed my "calm" button, and I hope it pushes your too.
