Inside MusiCast 'Pick Of The Day': “Weather”, by Huey Lewis and The News. Selected by Brian Pearson.

I have been listening to this album non-stop and all I can say is "Yowsa-Wowsa!" This album is as funky as a 2-day old bandaid and it's mostly because the core of "The News" hasn't changed. These guys have gelled since 1980 and Huey surrounds himself with Johnny Colla, Bill Gibson, Sean Hopper, John Pierce, Stef Burns & a killer horn section that consists of Johnnie Bamont, Marvin McFadden & Rob Sudduth. Also, look for guest spots from Jeff Babko and John McFee of the Doobies. Yes, it's only 7 tracks long and that is because of Huey's current battle with Meniere’s disease. Here's hoping they can find a cure soon. I so love this album! Sending you boatloads of positive & healing vibes from our IMC family & friends.
